Community Invited to Attend Care Cancer Centers of Brevard and Cancer Care Centers Foundation’s First “Multicultural Health Fair,” October 29

Event Offers Important Health Education and Free Breast and Prostate Screenings by Appointment Only and Diabetic, Eye, Osteoporosis, Peripheral Artery Disease, and Blood Pressure Screenings

MELBOURNE, Fla. – In its combined efforts to provide the community access to important health education and screenings, Cancer Care Centers of Brevard (CCCB) and Cancer Care Centers Foundation (CCCF) are hosting its first “Multicultural Health Fair” event on Saturday, October 29 from 8 a.m. to Noon. The free event will take place at Cancer Care Centers of Brevard located on 1430 S. Pine Street in Melbourne.

The community is invited to attend this special event which offers free breast and prostate screenings by appointment only as well as diabetic, eye, osteoporosis, peripheral artery disease, and blood pressure screenings. Physicians from CCCB, the Hispanic American Medical Association, and Dr. Omar Kazi of the Eye Clinic & Laser Institute will be on-hand to answer questions, provide health information and screenings.

For more than 20 years, CCCB has dedicated itself to providing Brevard County patients innovative medical oncology and radiation oncology treatments that rival even the finest academic-based cancer centers in Florida. As part of its comprehensive cancer care centers, CCCB offers patients medical oncology and radiation oncology services, diagnostic imaging, as well as additional supports groups, education and financial assistance provided by its CCCF. Radiation oncology services are spearheaded by board-certified radiation oncologists including Medical Director Ravi Shankar, M.D., Fe V.S.J. Pancito, M.D., and Todd V. Panarese, M.D. Its medical oncology and hematology services are provided by board-certified medical oncologists Giuseppe Palermo, M.D., Carl Tahn, M.D., Diely Pichardo, M.D., Germaine Blaine, M.D., and Craig Badolato, M.D.
