Cancer Care Centers of Brevard Welcomes New Medical Oncologists - Doctors Germaine Blaine and Craig Badolato Join Medical Oncology Team
MELBOURNE, Fla. – In its continued efforts to provide Brevard County residents access to highly trained cancer specialists, Cancer Care Centers of Brevard recently announced that board certified medical oncologists Germaine M. Blaine, M.D. and Craig J. Badolato, M.D. have joined the prestigious medical oncology team at its state-of-the-art cancer centers.
Dr. Blaine is board certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology and her clinical interests include benign and malignant hematology as well as breast cancer. She has been in private practice since 2003 and has resided in Brevard County since 2004. She was appointed Instructor and Assistant Professor of the Department of Interdisciplinary Oncology and Malignant Hematology Program at the University of South Florida – H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. Dr. Blaine is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. As a survivor of childhood cancer, she possesses a unique perspective and interest in post-treatment issues affecting cancer survivors.

Dr. Blaine received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. She earned her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA and completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. She furthered her training by completing a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University of South Florida, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa where she was also appointed Instructor and Assistant Professor. Dr. Blaine also completed a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology, with an emphasis in Clinical Investigation at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Badolato, board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, has been in practice for nearly 20 years, and his clinical interests focus on adult oncology and hematology. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Badolato received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from LaSalle University (formerly LaSalle College) in Philadelphia, PA. He received his Medical Degree and Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University (formerly Hahnemann University) in Philadelphia, PA where he was awarded the Marvin Haskin Award for Excellence in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Badolato completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington and was fellowship trained in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Drexel University.
