Dr. Pichardo is a board certified physician in hematology, medical oncology and internal medicine. She is currently practices at Cancer Care Centers of Brevard in Melbourne Florida as part of a comprehensive oncology group.  She holds a Masters of Science Degree (Summa Cum Laude), from the Northwestern University of Chicago, Illinois. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the Detroit Medical Center at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.  Dr. Pichardo completed her fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the Northwestern University of Chicago, Medical Center. 

As a Hematologist and Oncologist, Dr. Pichardo has published several articles with exceptional expertise in the treatment of leukemia lymphomas with chemotherapy.  Her literary works include, Hepatocellular Carcinoma (American College of Gastroenterology Annual Meeting, 2005), Cutansous T-cell Lymphoma (Leukemia Lymphoma,Vol. 45, 2004) and Methylation Profile of Multiple Myeloma Cell Lines (Cancer Biotherapy & Radiopharmaceuticals, Vol. 18, 2003).  She speaks Spanish natively and is fluent in English.
